Rubber safety mat 50 × 50 × 5 cm
Product code: KT505050Rubber‑granulate safety tiles are used as protective surfacing for outdoor gyms and children’s playgrounds. The tiles are easy to install and replace when needed. The simple installation method allows the surface to be removed, the base corrected and the tiles reinstalled quickly and cost‑effectively if subsidence occurs in the sub‑base. Unlike poured‑in‑place surfacing, rubber tiles can be installed by anyone without hiring specialised labour. Depending on the tile thickness, they meet various fall‑height requirements. The available colour options allow both visual and functional layouts, defining training zones or guiding users through designated safe movement areas.
According to EN 1176‑1:2018 and EN 1177:2018 standards, rubber safety tiles meet the following fall‑height requirements.
- Rubber tile 3 cm — 0.9 m
- Rubber tile 4 cm — 1.3 m
- Rubber tile 4.5 cm — 1.7 m
- Rubber tile 5 cm — 1.7 m
